Program Overview

This 8-week program is designed to empower our community members to take an active role in managing their blood pressure.

 

Over the course of 8 weeks, our "Living Well with High Blood Pressure" program will empower you with the knowledge and tools to manage your high blood pressure effectively and confidently.

 

With help from a trained Health Coach, you'll learn about important health topics, including:

  • Action Plan: Make a plan to reach your health goals.

  • Hypertension: Understand high blood pressure and how it affects your body.

  • Nutrition: Learn what foods can help manage high blood pressure.

  • Quitting Tobacco: Get tips to stop smoking and protect your heart.

  • Exercise: Find activities to lower blood pressure and stay fit.

  • Medication: Learn how to manage your medications correctly.

  • Stress: Discover ways to reduce stress and help your heart.

  • Long-Term Plan: Create a plan to stay healthy for years to come.

 

All materials will be provided, so all you need to bring is your commitment to a healthier life!

Meetings will be once a week for eight weeks, and all materials needed will be provided. This program is an excellent opportunity to learn how to manage high blood pressure, reduce the risk of serious health problems, and lead a healthier life.
