Baby crawling on a bed, draped in a purple-and-white blanket, with a surprised expression in a soft bedroom setting.

North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) is excited to announce that it will begin offering Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) services as of July 9th, 2026.

WIC is a program that helps pregnant women, new moms, babies, and young children stay healthy. Families in the program can get healthy food benefits, nutrition tips, breastfeeding support, and help finding other health services.  In addition, participants will have access to all NCDHD services including same day immunizations.

If you are pregnant, recently had a baby, are breastfeeding, or have a child under age 5, you may qualify for WIC.  To learn more or make an appointment, call North Central District Health Department at 402-336-2406 or email wic@ncdhd.ne.gov.
