The North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) is excited to offer the Healthy Concession Stand Mini Grant, designed to help schools provide healthier snack and beverage options at their concession stands.

Concession stands are an important part of school activities and community events. With a few simple changes, schools can make it easier for students, athletes, families, and community members to find nutritious options while still enjoying the events they love.

Two Grant Options Available

Schools can apply for either or bothĀ of the following grant opportunities:

🄤 Supplies & Equipment Grant — Up to $1,000

Funding can be used to purchase supplies or equipment that support healthier concession stand options.

šŸŽĀ Project Support Grant — $350

Funding can be used to support projects that encourage healthier food and beverage choices at school concession stands.

Schools may apply for one or both grants, depending on their needs and planned projects.

Application Timeline

Applications are due to Jennifer Booker at NCDHD by September 30.

Applicants will be notified by October 9Ā whether their application has been approved or if changes or additional information are needed.
